Manage a national team, or a club and a nation at once
Fancy the international job? Pick a country from 200+ national teams, call up your squad for every window and take them through friendlies, qualifiers and tournaments. Or go all in with Club and national team and run both at the same time.
Your target depends on where your nation sits in the world ranking: the giants are expected to go deep, smaller nations just need to qualify.

How to start
- Open play.trophora.com and tap Choose your own club, name and mode.
- Keep Manager mode selected and set up your manager under 1 · Your manager.
- Under 2 · How do you start?, pick National team only, or Club and national team to run both.
- Choose your country from the National team list. Each nation shows its world ranking and the target appears underneath.
- Running both? Pick your club too.
- Tap Start career.
What you control
- The squad: pick 18 to 26 players on the International tab, from every eligible player, whichever country's league they play in.
- Call-ups: before each international match your Inbox asks you to Pick the squad or Let the staff pick it.
- Matchday: play or watch every international yourself.
- Your future: other nations, and clubs, can come in for you. Accept, decline or Leave the job.
- Both jobs: with a club as well, the Tactics screen has a switch between your club side and your nation.
A typical week
International football runs in windows. In between, a nation-only manager presses Continue to move the world on while the club season plays out, keeping an eye on form and fitness in the player pool. When a window comes round, the call-up lands in your Inbox: save your squad on the International tab or let the staff pick the strongest available players. Then it's the match itself. Run a club as well and you do all of that around your club's normal week.
How you win and progress
- Your target is set by world ranking: top-6 nations aim for the semi-finals of major tournaments, the top 16 for the quarter-finals, the rest to qualify.
- After each major tournament or campaign the national association reviews you. Hit the target and you're safe.
- Fall well short and the association can end your contract.
- Do well and bigger nations come calling. Win a major tournament and your name is made.
- The world ranking on the International tab moves with every result.
Tips
- A squad you save is used for every international until you change it. Forgot to update it? Use Pick automatically before a window.
- Check the Status and Fit columns when picking. Injured or tired players drag the side down.
- Want to manage a national team without a big reputation? Start with a smaller nation where the target is just to qualify.
- Running club and country together? Nations can also approach you at the start of a season, so a good club spell can land you an international job.
